The City of Clearwater Earns Statewide Certification for Being a Green City
The City of Clearwater earns statewide certification for being a Green City -- a certification administered through The Florida Green Building Coalition. The award will be presented to City staff at the City Council meeting Thurs 12/17 at 6pm at City Hall Chambers, 112 S. Osceola Ave.

Downtown Clearwater Holiday Event 2009
The Miracle on Cleveland Street:
Friday 12/11 from 5 to 10pm
Snow in Downtown Clearwater -- forty tons will be trucked onto 500 - 600 Cleveland Street. There will be two snow slides for the children, train rides and Santa Claus. Don't miss the Live Entertainment and Holiday Christmas Bazaar as well.

The 35th Annual Memorial Island Estates Holiday Boat Parade sponsored by the Island Estates Yacht Club is scheduled for Saturday 12/12/09.
6pm: Boats meet in Mandalay Channel
630pm: Boats sail through Island Estates' canals.
8pm: Boats arrive at Coachman Park then go under the Memorial Causeway Bridge turn into the Clearwater Marina Channel and end their trip at the Clearwater Yacht Club judging stand.
